The Deutschland Ethik 30 equity index lists companies from the German Stock Exchange that meet stringent ethical standards. All companies must be recognized with Prime Status by the rating agency oekom research as a prerequisite for inclusion in this index. In addition, an ethical advisory board decides on the stocks analyzed by oekom research. The Ethik 30 equity index was developed by asset manager Rhein Asset Management in cooperation with oekom research, and was officially launched on the market in May 2014. Fraport AG is a member of this index.

On December 9, 2024, the rating agency ISS ESG awarded the “Prime Status” to Fraport AG. Prime Status is awarded to those companies that rank among the leaders in their industry and meet the sector-specific minimum requirements according to the ISS ESG Corporate Rating “Social and Environmental Performance”.

MSCI assesses the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of companies. Based on these assessments, companies are awarded an ESG rating ranging from AAA to CCC. Companies with an AAA or AA rating are leading their industry in managing sustainability and other ESG issues. On January 3, 2025 Fraport was awarded an AA “leader” rating by MSCI for its sustainability performance.
The Sustainalytics ESG Risk Rating assesses the sustainability performance of companies in five risk categories on a scale from “negligible” to “severe”. The rating comprises managed and unmanaged ESG risks.
Sustainalytics identifies the sustainability risks relevant to the respective sector and then assesses how well a company manages these risks. The scale ranges from 0 to 100, with 0 being the best and 100 the worst. Sustainalytics focuses on financial and material risks that influence the company's value. On January 8, 2024, Fraport was rated as “low risk” with a score of 14.3.
