Fraport Ground Services GmbH (formerly FraGround Fraport Ground Handling Professionals GmbH) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fraport AG. Since July, 2017 Fraport Ground Services GmbH, Fraport AG and FRA Vorfeldkontrolle GmbH (the Fraport subsidiary responsible for apron control) have been working as a joint establishment.
The portfolio includes the handling of baggage, freight and aircraft as well as technical services. In addition, Fraport Ground Services helps clear runways as part of the Winter Services and provides staff for aircraft de-icing. The efficient placement and deployment of staff is one of the strengths of the company.
